About FredoClaw

FredoClaw is a managed AI assistant you set up for someone you love — usually a parent who doesn't speak English first and doesn't want to learn yet another app. It lives inside their WhatsApp and helps them with email, translation, and the small admin you've been meaning to do for them.

What we do

We provide turnkey OpenClaw hosting with inference included. You pick the person you're setting it up for and the language they speak. We provision a dedicated server in the region they actually live in, ship a pairing link to their phone, and configure a multilingual mum-mode skill pack. From signup to first WhatsApp reply: under a minute.

Why we built it

A few weeks ago, on a train back from Swansea, a lady a row ahead turned around and asked, in broken English, if the train went to Birmingham. She didn't have internet. A man across the aisle took out his AirPods, said we were using a stupid app, laughed, then started confusing both of us. By the time I'd worked out her route — change at the next station, platform 3, twenty minutes later, last train of the night — she'd turned to me and asked if I spoke Arabic. I didn't. I asked the man if he could let her know when to get off. He said he'd probably be asleep by then. Then he sighed and, under his breath, said something about how people who don't speak English shouldn't be in this country.

My heart sank, because all I could think about was my mum. She fought tooth and nail for the English education she never had herself, back in India and Nepal — so I could sit on a train and watch a stranger mutter about people like her.

A few days earlier, she'd been struggling with an urgent email, switching between Hindi, Nepali, and English depending on who she was writing to, agitated, waiting for me to help. I live in a different time zone. The more I was getting better at business, the worse I was getting as a son. So I made her a personal AI on my WhatsApp. It's bridged the gap between me being a bad son and feeling like one.

After the train, I knew it shouldn't just be for my mum.

What makes it different

Three things, against every other OpenClaw wrapper in this space:

Inference is included. One flat fee, no API key to wire up, no surprise bill. The parent the agent runs for never has to know what an OpenAI account is.

Multi-region, automatic. Dedicated VPS in London, Frankfurt, Mumbai, New York, Tokyo, Sydney, or São Paulo — picked from where they actually live. Their voice notes don't round-trip across continents.

Modern models by default. Sonnet 4.6 with smart routing, not a year-old default that fails on anything multi-step. The agent has to actually be able to translate an email, draft a reply, and attach the right document in one go.

How support works

Until volume forces a change, the support number is my actual personal WhatsApp. My own OpenClaw triages incoming messages, FAQs auto-answer, anything real pages me on the other end. If you're setting this up for a parent and something breaks, you message me directly — no ticket portal, no chatbot, just a person.

Where we sit on the open-source stack

FredoClaw is built on top of OpenClaw — open source, 247K+ stars on GitHub, with the creator now at OpenAI and integrations from NVIDIA and the wider community. We don't fork it; we host it well, ship it with sensible defaults, and stay out of your data's way. Per-tenant VPS, GDPR-compliant, your conversation history stays on your server.
